One public representative is required per panel based upon availability. Those who participate in hearings often have to commit several sequential days, and then as needed for further dates. Dates for meetings are set by consensus but must accommodate the full panel.
Of the members first appointed to the Disciplinary Panel, one half will be appointed for a term of two years and the remainder for a term of three years and all subsequent appointments of members will be for a term of three years.
The Disciplinary Panel of the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking to fill at least one position to represent the public interest. Expressions of interest are being sought from individuals who possess the background, experience and skill set identified in the board profile above and who can bring unique perspectives to the table. Consideration will also be given to a variety of demographic factors to ensure the board is representative of the population they serve.
